We stayed at Marina Mandarin on Friday, to have an early celebration of Mother's Day for Jas.

As usual, 樂樂 was ecstatic when we checked in. In fact, he was already on a high when we were checking in, as there were quite a few water features in the lobby. When we went into our room, he made a beeline for the curtains for his current favourite game: Hide and Seek. He is always asking us to "Hide". As our room had a nice view of the Marina Bay as well as the Merlion, he was a bundle of unstoppable energy throughout.

But the best part was when we brought him swimming. He was a little scared initially, and clung on tightly to Jas when we lowered him into the water. But in no time at all, he was screaming in joy, and even refused all assistance to walk the length of the baby pool.

We also tried out our new purchase, a portable DVD player. We got it for such purposes, to calm him down, and also distract him from running around. It worked perfectly, although the only bad thing is he kept wanting to press the buttons on the player. Ah well, you can't have everything.

We didn't forget the main reason for the celebration, and both 樂樂 and I penned our initials on a card for Jas. But I have to say that Jas has been a great mother. She not only takes care of him, she plays with him, she engages him in various games and it is no coincidence that 樂樂 seeks her company the most. I think 樂樂 will agree with me that she is the best mother there possibly be. There's only 2 of us, but we are the only 2 that matters, in this case.

It's been a while huh? I've been busy with a project, which had a first release yesterday, so there was a bit of a rush to get things done.

We went to Joseph's full month celebration over the weekend, and I actually took some photos, but I have yet to process them.

Anyway, I've processed a few photos of our Melbourne trip, taken at Churchill Island, a beautiful place that we stopped over on our way to Philips Island.
