We are back from our holiday!

We landed around 4 in the afternoon, and we just finished unpacking all the stuff. Photos will be uploaded soon (I hope).

It has been a busy few weeks, I joined a team in some development project, and while it has been fun, it has been really time-consuming. It's a strange feeling working with J2EE technologies, everything has changed so much since I last dabbled in J2EE. Luckily, I did some development stuff on Hibernate and dug around Struts2 on my own every now and then so I'm not completely rusty.

Anyway, Jas and I are bringing 樂樂 to Melbourne tonight. We will be gone for a week. The bummer is that there is a Bushfire alert, but it is difficult for me to rearrange my leave, so we probably will not stray from the city too much.

It has been ages since I last went on a holiday out of Singapore. The last leisure trip that I took was our honeymoon. Anyway, I haven't done enough travelling in the past year to re-qualify for even silver, so this will be the last time for a long while before I can enjoy the benefits.

It will be a big challenge for us, as the flight is 7 hours, and 樂樂 has never taken a flight before. He has been having running nose and cough for the past few days, so hopefully, he will not be too cranky on the flight.

Nevertheless, we are all excited about this trip. I will update again when we're back
